Using the discomforts of rummaging, dumpster-diving and inviting strangers to call you, (getting to know me) getting to know you better is a community-engaged project. It interacts with and uses borders of privacy and propriety (dumpsters, windows, telephones) as tools of epistemic awareness. Knowledge of the artist’s neighbourhood is sought through unconventional, yet widely available means. Coupled with this interaction is an invitation to investigate the artist, to look into his home, to call him, to get to know him and, in turn, to let him get to know you better.
