Exhibition Information
"Public Good" references the historical phenomena of book burnings as public manifestations of institutionally governed protest and censorship. Renato proposes a one-week performance in which he will systematically render anonymous the content of approximately 400 books and then destroy them physically within the window space.

Renato Vitic received his BFA from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in 2001 and is currently the Mountain Standard Time Performative Festival Coordinator.
