Exhibition Information
Using vertical, horizontal and diagonal lines painted on the walls of the window space in bold primary colors, Rachelle followed basic perspective theories to enhance the spatial illusions in the window.
The highly precise nature of the process made the installation process last over five weeks, giving the painting a performative aspect. The resulting illusion both flattened and extended the different contours of the space.
