Exhibition Information

“SUNNY”, originally a popular song by Bobby Hebb, exists in our collective consciousness as a genderless love song that emerged in the 1960’s. Appropriated into an installation, SUNNY evokes our connection with the love song – a desire for contact – communication. The reference is personal, quasi-historical and social while the meaning depends on one’s age, taste, and cultural persuasion.
