EXHIBITION INFORMATION
The realms of the two-dimensional and the three-dimensional are separate but related. Objects, walls, and people can be perceived as 3D or 2D forms. The way something functions visually can be changed with paint that covers it, flattens it, or creates the illusion of space. The notion of landscape provides a useful reference for considering ideas of flatness and space; immensely spacious and dimensional, it can also be flattened by creating a map, taking a photograph, or making a topographical drawing. Eye Bleed is a diagram of a painted landscape that fluctuates between flatness and infinite space.
